FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™

JvM Sports is the lead agency for the World Cup in Qatar. The work on this client is a prime example of interdisciplinary collaboration and creative consulting. Client, strategy, suits and my team worked hand in hand to map out the road until kick-off – and beyond. Because as the most sustainable and most connected FIFA World Cup ever, it will leave a legacy.

Lead by a core team of three (planner, client service and me), we crafted the World Cup narrative and developed the content strategy for the tournament together with the client, embedded in the offices of the Supreme Committee in Doha.

Also I was responsible for the World Cup claim, and involved the entire JvM copywriter-squad from every office. Jean-Remy von Matt and I were the final judges. We then turned our shortlisted claims into pretty epic films to present them to the Supreme Committee and the nation’s rulers.
